This series of portraits began as a labor-intensive solution to a relatively simple computer graphics assignment. Card numbers 11-41 + the names of 22 other unrepresented local artists, musicians, filmmakers, gallery owners, and advocates were included in a small handmade book entitled 52 People You Should Know in the Memphis Art Scene. Afterward, I turned the series into a trading card set. This project is ongoing.
